                 retardant  coatin  .  he  reaction  mechani m  wa   analy ed   y  Fourier  tran  orm  in rared

                  pectro copy,nuclear  ma netic  re onance(   NMR), -ray  cry tallo raphy  and  other
                 analytical  mean .  hermo ra imetric  analy i , cannin   electron  micro cope,and  the  cone

                 calorimeter were u ed to e plore the action mechani m o  the halloy ite nanotu e ( N  )on
                 coatin   e pan ion  and  car on  layer  morpholo y.  he  re ult    howed  that   N    could   e

                  ra ted onto the  RA molecule chain throu h the reaction  etween Al    and     ,and
                  RA  molecule   could  al o  penetrate  the  interlayer   o    N  .  he   ra tin   o    N    did  not
